My ALL TIME Favourite Nintendo Switch Games

I’m loving Pikmin 3 , it’s my first Pikmin game and my husband bought it for me. I didn’t know anything about it. It’s so much fun to me. It has challenges but nothing crazy, I can’t play games that are too hard. I am from NES generation and used to 2d platform games so some games I have trouble just moving around and using all the buttons and switching out weapons etc but Pikmin is definitely my level. Find fruit, figure out how to complete different tasks and fight boss monsters all with different color Pikmin that have their own special strengths to help you along the way. Plus they are adorable! I love Mario games (stems from NES days) , Untitled goose game is so much fun! You are a goose and have list of tasks you need to do and they are things like stealing gardeners keys, throw rake in lake etc. If you have little bit of a bad side you will like! Special ending as well. Toadstool game, you have to find the treasure but each world it’s hidden. You have to figure out how to get through to each part of the platform without getting hit by enemy and find the treasure. It’s a 3d world and you have to change point of view to see the walking platform better or find openings. It’s challenging but not crazy hard and it’s fun. I like trying to figure stuff out. Crash bandit bundle is fun, 3 games in 1.
I’m not a gamer but I do like to play sometimes and I like games that are just fun to play. I haven’t played a lot of switch games but these I have played and really enjoy them. I didn’t mention Animal crossings only bc I only like playing it when I want to say whine down or just something that is relaxing but not so much as fun. I like nothing can kill me and I can just run around and choose what I feel like doing. Raymond legends is fun but stresses me out lol so does Crash bandit to be fair. Oh and Lion King on Switch is for the Devil! I played as a kid in my sisters Sega and it was challenging but I actually beat it. I can’t get passed level 2 now! Unless maybe my game controllers are off :/ or maybe I’m just as good at playing games as I used to be as a kid but it’s just so hard now!! ?

Puddles! I am getting a switch for Christmas. I am 38 and this will be the first console I've ever owned. I grew up watching my brother play countless games on countless systems. We would play a lot of multi-player games but he would usually kick my ass. I've never been very good at video games but the Switch seems like it has a lot of games that would be suited for me. I'm very excited 🙂

Splatoon isn't a first person shooter. That would be something like halo or call of duty, in the first person view (where you see the gun and arm only, basicaly). Splatoon is a third person shooter, and so is gears of War or fortnite. Now if splatoon has a first person mode then maybe I would understand, but even then, it would still be considered a third person shooter.

Please Tell me some games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ??? So I can motivate myself to Buy the Nintendo Switch OLED version ????

Just going to buy the OLED version but except for Breath of the wild Not a single game excites me as a PS5 gamer should still i consider it to buy???

what games and console would you recommend for someone who is new to the switch consoles? I am undecided between the switch lite, the LED switch or the normal switch….(the last console I played was gameboy colour and ps2 lol i'm more of a PC gamer)

I don't have a Switch (broke indie game designer here) but you've convinced me that I'm going to have to move up my timeline for when I get one. I've been getting by with a wii u and other systems, but I can see this is necessary. Also wanted. So, thanks for that!
