Nintendo Live 2023 is a new way to celebrate the games and worlds of Nintendo. The free event will feature a wide variety of different activities for attendees of all ages to take part in – even if you have no gaming experience – with something for everyone around every corner.

Nintendo Live 2023 will take place in a space featuring different areas themed around an assortment of Nintendo games with various experiences and activities. Some of these activities include:

Nintendo Switch gameplay: Nintendo Live 2023 will feature gameplay from a wide variety of nintendo switch games, including The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pikmin 4 and more. You can also put your Mario skills to the test and take part in the “Mario Dojo”, a fast-paced and frantic challenge over three rounds of three different Mario games! There will even be a Nintendo Switch Online Classics area with classic games in an area that will make you feel like you’ve stepped straight into the 80s. Meet & greets: Nintendo Live 2023 is sure to have no shortage of superstars. Characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Kirby, and other familiar faces like Tom Nook, Isabelle, and KK Slider from Animal Crossing games will be on hand to meet and take pictures with fans. Memorable Photo Opportunities: Looking to capture one-of-a-kind photos? Nintendo Live 2023 will have plenty of photo opportunities! From a virtual tour of larger-than-life sculptures Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Pikmin 4 to a Super Smash Bros Ultimate mural and an immersive experience inspired by an idyllic island getaway setting of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there will be many places to take a memorable photo and share it with your friends and family on social media. Live Stage: In addition to separate areas, Nintendo Live 2023 will feature a main stage where we plan to host live performances, including daily music performances from the Super Mario and Legend of Zelda series and a showcase of other entertainment. Gaming Tournaments: While Nintendo Live 2023 will feature high-level tournaments for participants to participate in or watch as spectators, there will also be additional tournaments for fans with a range of skill levels. Each day will feature a different competition: September 1: The first day of Nintendo Live 2023, the Super Smash Bros. Squad Strike will be open to fans ages 13 and up who want to show off their versatile skills in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game. September 2: The 2023 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championships will be held on September 2, with a last-ditch qualifier on site for those looking to make their way onto the big stage. September 3: On September 3, the spotlight will be on the next generation of fighters with the Super Smash Bros. exhibit. Ultimate amiibo+me 2023. Participants aged 10-16 can train their amiibo fighters and compete against other participants and their amiibo fighters to see who will win. September 4: Closing event: Splatoon 3 Championships 2023, with the top teams qualifying for the upcoming Splatoon 3 Championship Qualifiers 2023 taking place June 3-4 and June 10-11.
