as we said in the video – there are WAY more than 20 games worth talking about, so we have a PART 2 planned. Definitely let us know what we should include in the next one!
dislike, but like 1st place
I can't believe Dead Space wasn't on this list.
2 games that really stick out to me when I think of my favorite games from early 2000s are Second Sight and Indigo Prophecy. Second Sight especially. Probably my favorite game of all time.
Tenchu 2. Came out in 2000 and took everything fun about the first game and added on to it. Player specific perspectives on missions, the level creator, the intro and story were all excellent.
????????????
Dead Space, still looks good and plays well today.
Smackdown vs Raw Games were incredible before 2k bought them and became shit, Spider-Man games, well most of them anyways, TBC and WOTLK WoW of course, AC 2 and Brotherhood, Prototype, FF 9 , depressing as it is( it's a lot) , Blood Omen, Uncharted 1 and 2, SW Republic Commando, The Witcher 1( has the best story imo) and of course the absolute masterpiece that is Mass Effect, honestly this period is the best for single player games ever, with a few exceptions of course after that
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed!!!
Team Fortress 2 should’ve been on this
Paper Mario, Manhunt, Ninja Gaiden, Beyond Good and Evil, Portal, Fatal Frame, just to name a few more.
RtCW
No one remembers Max Payne???
25 to life was amazing too…sad that it's not in this video :<
there's a mob that said "Hey, hey hey hey". Anyone knows that game?
it's crisis core for me. i kinda expected it not to be here but THAT is def a highlight game in my childhood
All of these are missing from your list:
Assassin's Creed
Hitman
F.E.A.R
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
GTA (Vice City)
Max Payne
Far Cry
Mass Effect
Delta Force
Project IGI
Tomb Raider
COMMANDOS
I would have definitely placed Splinter Cell Chaos Theory in the top 3
Neverwinter Nights: (2002) So many great multiplayer memories.
Dead Rising was one of my favorite single player games
without I.G.I the list is incomplete.
Far cry 2 was amazing
The Jak and Daxter series. Jak and Daxter, Jak II, Jak III, and Jak IV: The Lost Frontier were by far my favorite and most memorable. Kingdom Hearts is definitely one that should mentioned.
Close before the corporate took over, gaming world is destroyed know
Gotta disagree on Fallout 3 being bumped by New Vegas. Fallout 3 had such a wide range of areas and exploring the ruins of D.C., above and below ground, was stunning! It set the tone for the rest of the franchise. New Vegas was so clunky and buggy as to be almost unplayable on both P.C. and console! To be fair, Vegas did have a crazy amount of storylines and DLC content but I was cringing through most of it waiting for the inevitable crash.
Assassin's Creed 1,2 and Splinter Cell CT
You missed a few.
Every 3D Mario game from that time, Sonic Unleashed, Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 4, and Minecraft. I’d say Doom 3, but that would be blatantly false.
Where the heck is f.e.a.r? The A.I alone was fantastic, nothing could beat it back in the 2000s with it's visceral gun fu action. I don't even know what freedom fighters is but f.e.a.r definitely should of been in its place
Pokemon!
i just hit the subscribe button because you put freedom fighters.. usually super underated
Diablo 2 is just o e of those games they dont give you shit but they give you just enough that when you find something its like you hit the jackpot the character building the story it was the first game that hooked me like really hooked me up playing for days no sleep trying to find one item diablo 3 the biggest thing with it is they just throw the items at you and its not very rewarding at all there no real consequences to the character building you can just pick what you wanna be at anytime and idk it just is not good at all
Dude freedom fighter was my childhood thank you for mention. You should mention GENERALS sometime
max payne 1 , assassin's creed
Just loved to see oblivion
Left 4 dead isn't here!?!
Right without thinking, I've played for a veeeery long time in PS1 the amazing Abe's Odissey and Abe's Exodus (I believe u write like this, dont remember lol)… I mean, cmon, the guy farted to cheer up his brothers!! xD An amazing platformer in my opinnion!
Got to be mass effect. Black. Operation flashpoint dragon rising. Soul calibur 2. COD black ops
Warrior within was so much better than sands of time
fantastic Era of gaming
Fable, AOE, AOM, Far Cry 3, Morrowind, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (1 & 2)
Uncharted 2 snubbed bro
I would add The Warriors to that list
