Welcome to day three of our 12 Days of SwitchUp – 12 videos leading up to Christmas Eve and covering a variety of topics related to all things Switch, done in a podcast style so we can just chat, basically! Today’s topic is about 10 games that we think are good for kids. How do we know? Simple, we asked our respective kids to tell us their favorite Switch games. Market research at its best! We think the “big kids” might also find some pretty fun games here! Which games made the list? 2. This list intriguing, agreed with game design as for lesson planning.

Have been exploring this with my foundation, and often I find that engaging students with applied learning, in years to come, the advantage tremendous.

In general, I consider the Switch ideal for STEM related programs as well Robotics Club, one just has to navigate through the eshop.

Further in contrast it could work well for children pre k, as it has with mine.

  3. This is actually very very helpful. . . Coming from the guy that recently bought man eater to play with my 2 year old because he loves sharks ? ?.

This videos for people like me haha. Thank you switchup!! Seriously love how you include your children's opinions on alot of your videos !!! Amazing as always!

  4. I discovered dragon quest builder 2 in 2021 and it has become one of my absolutly favorite games on the switch. I was unable to put it down and enjoyed so much. I still wish I was able to discover the game again without knowing anything about it. This definitly also fits adults 😉

  5. I almost just didn't buy Monster Hunter Stories 2 at all but a buddy convinced me and it ended up being one of my most played games of the year after all the time we put in to the coop content

  6. Holy cow what a fun video! I’m glad you guys involve your kids so much. As far as fun games for kids, try Two Point Hospital. It’s sense of humor is great and the game play is pretty easy to understand.

  7. I've got a 5 year old daughter who definitely likes games, but I've struggled to get her to focus on much on Switch (though she really likes Hidden Through Time!). Have tried other hidden object games without much luck. At what age did you guys introduce your kids to games and what did you start them on? Any other tips you can share would be greatly appreciated!

  8. I've pretty much bought all these already in anticipation for when my son is old enough to start playing and appreciating these sorts of games.

I know it might be a little cheesy but a couple of educational games like the Calculation Castle series games and Letter Quest Remastered aren't bad picks.

  9. Don't worry Glen, I've never played Minecraft either ? The blocky graphics have always put me off. And I also agree with Mark about Animal Crossing, after a certain point I get bored and drop it because I feel like there's no point and I get annoyed with having to continuously go through the same unskippable dialogue. Maybe Dragon Quest Builders 2 would be the perfect cross between them for me – building but with prettier graphics, and life sim but with an rpg quest line to keep me engaged.

  10. Honestly, this is the worst possible video you guys made.

Turns out I’m a big kid… There is soo much I “need” to go buy now! My bank account ain’t ready for this ?

Thnx for the vid guys, love it!
