  1. I still prefer actually game cartridge but the r4 card has gotten better as have the emulator for other devices outside of the ds console and gb gba consoles and will get better as the game preservation continues to be here for a long time

  2. The R4 was a godsend for me when I was a young teen; it let me replay a bunch of games I stupidly sold as a child, and I'm so happy I could still experience them up till today now that I'm able to buy those games again.

  3. @0:55 I see Ninja Gaiden! I played that a bit when I was younger on my Acekard 2i and I'm not sure but I might have had the game in physical as well back then. I played it a bit a few hours ago and it's pretty fun and interesting

  4. Honestly she is very right. I bought an r4 years ago and the games that I never tried as a kid but loved as an adult, I buy the physical version bcuz I actually want them in my collection. Love the r4 bcuz it gives me a chance to try games I nvr would’ve tried as a kid and if the games are great (DQ9), then I’ll be on the lookout for them at my retro stores.

  5. Where can I buy an R4 I miss it so bad. I lost my R4 and 5 years later I still think if mom was just saying it's in the house somewhere so that I didn't feel bad.?

  6. this is honestly the most down to earth R4 video i've seen. all of the other videos i've seen say they don't condone piracy about 9 billion times when nobody cares. literally most people who bought an R4 used it for piracy, homebrew was a close second. for what it's worth, you definitely have the most accurate R4 video.

  7. I didn't have many ds games either but my mum was super against piracy and would never let me have an R4 🙁 I got to play on my friend's R4 sometimes so

  8. I really enjoy your videos, I haven't commented for a while, thought I'd make a appearance, I enjoy your cinematic style of your videos! I have a DS Flash Cart myself! And I recently got a NES and SNES Everdrive, and waiting on my Mega Everdrive Pro! Also my birthday is coming up soon as of this typing(its 5.8.21 currently, my birthday is 5.10! I'll be 42, holy peaches I'm old…lol!) Before I take my leave, I hope you will have a wonderful rest of the year, that you’ll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you’ll make something that didn’t exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind. Take care awesome geek/gamer woman! Be well and safe! -Marcus

  9. I can remember when I got an R4 for my Nintendo DS… it was when I was in 6th grade and I was 11… My brother baught one for me and one for him, I was in heaven and couldn’t believe how cool it was! I still have my DS and the games on the R4 cartridge. Do you have any idea if R4 DS cartridges would work on a Nintendo DS XL Bobdunga… ?
