Spyro The Reignited Trilogy was my favorite on the list, however I truly loved New Super Lucky's Tale and Yooka-Laylee. Both a Hat in Time and Pumpkin Jack are whacky and Fun as well, though not as high on the list as the first three I mentioned. Skully looks interesting but I haven't had a chance to play it yet.
Of all the Mario games on the list my favorite is by Far Sunshine.
My favorite platformer on the Switch is Mario Odyssey! I love the movement and platforming challenges in that game!

Can’t believe you add SpongeBob on this when most platformers should’ve been clones of that game instead but with more improvement, better sidequests and optional secrets. I’m fed up with realism logic.

Super Mario Odyssey is pretty much my pick off the list. If Darksiders 1 or 2 were included i may have picked those just coz i love the combat and lore on top of the exploration and platforming more. Mario Odyssey is one that didnt click with me for a good while, but went back to it about a year later and it has become one of my favorite games for the past decade.
Great list, but was hoping to see at least one Darksiders entry. It's not a pure platformer, but the platforming is significant enough that it's one of the main aspects that set it apart from its Zelda inspiration. I mean if Blue fire was in there i thought maybe Darksiders may qualify as a platformer for the purpose of this list 🙂

All these games have their charm but if I had to choose one it would be spyro, I played it in the PS1 but it was damaged which meant that I could not play it
Yooka-Laylee was my favourite! I remember it was one of the first games I got for the Switch after I bought it in 2017 & I really enjoyed it—so it has a special place for me. I never played the games that were it's inspiration, so I wanted to experience a modern version of that OG charm.
Just bought a switch, looking forward to my first experience with mario odyssey, galaxy and sunshine! ❤️
I don't think there's any doubt that Mario Odyssey is the best game on the list. That said, some love for Poi which is a really fun throwback to Mario 64 3D platformer. Ran through it pretty quick, but a ton of fun.

I love the Spyro and Crash trilogies . But Super Mario Odyssey is the master piece of this list .

Poi looks interesting… There isn't much fanfare for the game but, if SwitchWatch says it's good, then it's a hidden gem.
A hat in time was such a good game. But I do regret not picking up super lucky tale. Also pumpkin jack looks really cool.
Mario aside, Lucky's Tale and Yooka-Laylee are the must play 3D platformers on the switch

Mario Odyssey is one of my favorite games all time.
I have yet to play a lot of these, most of the Mario, A Hat in Time and New Super Lucky ar ein the backlog. However, my favourite has always been Spyro. ?
Can't knock Mario Odyssey off its throne, but Snake Pass is definitely worthy of props! One of the most unique platformers out there, and even when frustrating, it still feels fair and fun
My wallet hates these, but I love them. I will vouch for New Super Lucky’s Tale and Poi. I almost overlooked them both but l I am very glad that I didn’t. A Hat in Time is wonderful as well. Although my absolute favourite of all these is Mario Galaxy via 3D All Stars. I’ll have to keep an eye out for Fe and Pumpkin Jack getting a deeper sale sometime before grabbing them.
