Why I'm Buying The Nintendo 3DS In 2021

The Nintendo 3DS had a solid run with a ton of great games, but now that the Switch is out, Nintendo’s next-gen handheld is being phased out, with Nintendo no longer making repairs. With how often these systems would be broken and how difficult they could be to fix, I think now is the time to start building up the collection before it becomes harder to find. 1. Ironically the original 3ds is the easiest to find. And they’re the cheapest on Amazon for about $145. The 3ds XL however has less supply and are priced around $200 at the lowest on Amazon

  2. Sometimes, which is highly unlikely, if it refuses to boot it may be that it's modded and there's a file missing from the SD card (or the SD card is missing entirely), and it wasnt backed up to internal storage. I remember before backing it up to the storage, I'd take out the SD card from my 3DS and it wouldn't boot.

  3. since my parents can’t get me the newer Nintendo switch (es) they considered buying me the 3DS, I can see it’s not a bad product tbh and I can’t wait to get mine! (I currently have the Nintendo DS Lite)

  4. In my experience i feel like the new 3ds (not the xl) will be the hardest to find, at least here in the states. I really never saw any in stores, apart from the 20th anniversary pokemon one and the black friday models.

  5. When I was about to turn 10, I got a 3DS XL on release day in 2012 as an early birthday gift… I still have it and whipped it out a few days ago.. I only ever had NSMB2, A Link Between Worlds, and Smash, but I want to go back and play all the old games I could never get. My 3DS is a bit damaged and I lost the stylus.. so I'm thinking about getting a New 3DS XL for fun because I think it would be cool.

  6. I notice the new 3ds has more ram than the OG 3ds, question is, just how much more performance gain do i get if I buy the new 3ds now? (and is there any differenceto the binternet browswr performance)

  7. 2:24 Is really true for the system.
Prices have increased in 2022 on ebay.
I bought mine for $150 as it was Japanese. But Western systems go from $200 or even $300+
    For the New model.
The old 3ds is $50 less for all region types from what I've seen.

  8. So, I've been looking at maybe picking up a New 3DS, because my old New 2DS XL is getting a little beat up. Why are they like 300 bucks used? Considering their age, I'd be okay with a hundred or so, but not this much. And it's only the "New" 3DS as well, the original model is nowhere near that price.
