  1. I keep trying Hollowknight but am always dissapointed. I think I was spoiled by playing Ori first. Now I've finally played the Ori sequel and HK juts doesn't even compare for me. They're so similar yet I can't see what HK has going for it over Ori except difficulty if you prefer harder games (I don't)

  2. Ranking every Switch game I own. Even the ones at the bottom of the list I think are great.

    17. Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated
    16. Kirby: Star Allies
    15. Luigi’s Mansion 3
    14. Bravely Default 2
    13. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
    12. AI: The Somnium Files
    11. Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair
    10. Xenoblade Chronicles 2
    9. Trails of Cold Steel 3
    8. Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition
    7. Astral Chain
    6. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
    5. Dragon Quest 11S
    4. Fire Emblem: Three Houses
    3. Super Mario Odyssey
    2. Breath of the Wild
    1. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

  3. A Zelda game without storytelling or any memorable music, copy paste bosses and a constantly breaking Master Sword. Yeah that really captures the essance of a Zelda game alright.

  4. Me: there’s so many great switch games from BotW, to Mario Odyssey, to Smash Ultimate, to Ac:NH, to Astral Chain, to Fire Emblem: 3 houses, to Celeste, to Splatoon 2, to Pokémon Sword and Shield, even Paper Mario Origami King!
These Twilight Princess haters: Witcher 3, Cuphead, and Arms.

  5. IMO

    1) Hollow Knight- the art is amazing, the music is spine chilling, the combat is impeccable, the story is sad but beautiful at the same time, and the ending is UBER satisfying!
    2) Xenoblade Chronicles definitive edition- absolutely amazing and unforgettable story with a ton of twists and turns throughout! The music is so memorable and so awesome I get goosebumps every time I run around the open world especially Gaur Plain:*)
    3) BOTW- my first zelda game and it started my love for the franchise as well. So many things to do, any direction is the right direction to go in, the amount of content, the music, the atmosphere, the combat!!!
    4) FE:3H- abundant amount of content, Fodlan Winds makes me feel like I'm a freaking emperor fighting in an epic battle every time I hear it, Edelgard is the ultimate waifu, and the storylines are heart jerking!
    5) Celeste/Cuphead- sharp and precise gameplay, amazing art styles and animations, jaw dropping music and so hard you wanna yeet your controller across the room but for some god damn reason you come back for more:*)

  6. I think my five favoritea would have to be(and some of these are new by the way) Mario Odyssey, Pokemon mystery dungeon red and blue rescue team deluxe, Friday the 13th the game because who doesn't like playing as the bad guy, this one's kind of me cheating but the muscle warrior type games like persona 5 Strikers, Hyrule Warriors Hyrule Warriors Calamity, and Fire Emblem warriors, a bunch of those together so as My number four. And I would have to say okay I'm going to cheat again and I'm going to say the telltale games that I got like Batman to telltale series Sam and Max Walking Dead. I know you are looking for five but I couldn't help myself I got more than five games I like so I hope you guys don't mind the cheat.

  7. Dude, I’m glad someone’s talking about Arms! Bought it in 2018 and always find myself going right back to it. I do the same thing you do, where you don’t play it for awhile and totally forget about it haha. But I hope they can market the game better next iteration and get more people playing this game ?????

  8. The way this guy talks has an unusual cadence to it – I remember hearing the same from a previous co-worker. With her it always used to annoy the feck out of me, because I always thought that she was putting it on for effect. But, now that I hear the same thing being replicated, and I wonder if maybe I misjudged her. Maybe it is just a regional thing, and I was/am just an assumptive knobhead. Plus I have a weirdly context-inappropriate posh-voice myself, so I can't exactly talk… . Plus this guy really likes Hollow Knight , so that automatically makes him a gem.

  9. I so don't get the fuss about cuphead OR hollow knight.
Love run n gun and love metroidvania but those two were so, so utterly dull, repetitive, and annoying to me.
My best gamer friend had me buy them immediately, and I lost interest about as quickly as I bought them. Yawn.
