Finding a good place to store loose cartridges and discs and keep them safe can be tricky. I was happy to check out Unikeep’s game storage enclosures and see if they were worth anyone’s time. They have cases for Nintendo Switch, DS, 3DS, Wii, Playstation and Xbox. I also broadcast the tests of these cases on twitch (link below for the channel). I STREAM over on Twitch! Every Thursday at 1pm I will be checking out a display idea for the next video. On top of that I will have occasional streams with whatever game I happen to be playing. Link to the Twitch channel : Twitch.tv/Disk_Cart
I want a case like this for my 3DS, I have about 40-50 games and I’m planning on going to university in September and I’d rather know where all my games are.
I hope they make a PlayStation psp disk case that be great I'd buy one
Question can I put other games in this binder that aren't ps5 or ps4 can I put xbox 360 games in this binder
Thanks for the ideas lad! Currently looking for DS game storage and this really helped!
For a Storage of small Games, it's actually to big imo. Why having a Case that is bigger then the Game Case or even the System?
But yeah, i do't understand why that Nintendo has no offical Game Case for Switch Games already. I got some of the Club Nintendo exklusive Game Cases for 3DS Games and they can hold 18 Games, but have the exact same size as a regular Game Case.
Now I have a better idea of what to get now. I am having spacing problem in my room to the point that I have to do something. Looking at this would create alot of space in my room. So I may buy a few of these, maybe a couple ps ones, a xbox ver, switch ver, and a wii ver. Problem is, that's alot of plastic to throw away. Any idea what to do with casing?
If they made the art work replaceable like a traditional DVD case then this would be perfect.
Idea for future video, game display ideas for ikea detolf glass cabinets or glass cabinets in general, like risers, back drops, stands etc.
Loving the channel btw ?
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I know your thing is mainly display options but would you ever consider doing a topic on video game storage options? I’m interested in some interesting solutions for keeping my games dust free and away from sun light.
Congratulations on you reaching 3K subscribers, it’s been so great to see this awesome channel grow to where it is today and your content has always been top quality. One suggestion if I may ask, I would really love to see you do more unboxing of Collectors Editions, it’s always cool watching someone unbox a CE for the first time. Again congrats on your achievements here on your Channel DiskCart
I would have to disagree with you on the TCG binders. I would not use them to store my card collection, unless I don't care about condition. The way it's currently set up, there is no protection from binder dings on your cards. A D-ring binder would be better for protecting your cards from binder dings especially when used with page lifters or something similar. @UniKeepllc
Can you make a video on how you display a collection of memory cards?
I have 6 dreamcast VMUs, 12 gamecube, 2 ps2, 6 ps1, and a few others, any ideas would help, and i would love to hear any dust-free options as well, thank you for reading
I just realized how small your channel is. The best channels never get what they deserve ?
Bro what about android games and tell me best RPG games on Android and please do video about android games. And tell me sekiro like games in nes, PlayStation, n64,etc.and your video is awesome for game ideas dude.
Good to see a new video! Do you think you'll do a new video on Amiibo storage/display anytime soon?
Also, it's my birthday today so it was cool to wake up to a new Disk Cart video :]
Collection is looking good buddy! Keep up the passion man it really shows. I love the gaming community but as a collector gaming goes to another level. It’s adding a new piece to a collection that I find very addicting.
I saw these awhile back and I think it is an awesome idea! Thanks for sharing your thoughts about it.
Dress right… Dress! 🙂
Awesome shirt. And great seeing you again at Magfest! Can’t wait to hang with you next year. Great video.
Good video as always. I thought their name sounded a bit familiar, and it turns out I already have some of their office products. Here if you want to see it: https://youtu.be/NLPgjXmsrgw
Dude these are a really cool find, we need to design a photoshop template to print a custom label! Great job as always!
Idk why you have so few subs (~3k), you have a great channel
Heck yeah! Good to see you back at it. Thanks for sharing bud.?
welcome back!
I do travel around. Usually I don't want anyone knowing what I bring, especially electronics and games. It is an easy attraction to thieves. Like an example when I bring my Switch to VN, I just carry a no name brand case. VN is notorious for arm robbery, thieves, and criminals that want to make a buck. The case has no depiction of any video game mascots or say that I have an expensive electronic in this case. They even steal a pair of dirty used sandle on the front porch.
Love the switch case idea
That Switch… Switch case is fantastic.
I need something like this and really want to be excited about them, but the graphic design of the covers is really… not attractive… and the generic text ("My Game Collection", "Trading Card Collection") feels sillier than if there was just no text at all.
I totally get not wanting to pay for logo rights, but has it been suggested to make the inserts swappable so that I can print my own? Would be an instant purchase if I could!
Great video about storage! That Switch cartridge case is cool. I only have 3 Switch games so far though. Might get something to store games once I buy more games!
I do like that Switch game case; that'd be great to use for traveling with and tucking it, with your games, into a travel bag.
For the loose carts and discs these are pretty great. I use a lot of same cases with false covers but for a space-saver these look to work out so well.
I think the only umbrage I have is the inability to use my own custom art–especially on the spines.
Very cool, digging the Switch Games case!
Unikeep is a great company, I have modified several of their 20 disc and 5 disc cd Cases and glued in Neoprene foam to make my own custom inserts to make cases for Dreamcast VMUs, my gameboy camera, and several other strange small items. Another thing to look for is their "stamp cases." A stamp case is basically a 14 mm thick DVD case that has no holder for a disc. I have converted 2 of these with a neoprene foam to storage for memory cards for the Gamecube and PS2.
Great video man. I hope to see more soon.
As a side note to Unikeep, if you are interested in my mods to your cases, let me know. I would be happy to share them with no strings attached.
I have the newer case that has the foam on both sides for Switch carts and I had to stop using it… sometimes when it opens the carts tend to fall off of one side making a mess.
Nice video. It would be a great idea if they could do storage case for gameboy games I have a few dozen loose gameboy and gameboy advance games like most Collectors do.
Great video! The case for disks might be worth thinking about. I got a lot of PS4 games that would make it quicker to switch between games and find the disk I want rather than going through my whole shelf and digging out the one I want from the pile.
Aweeeesome video! I have a ton of loose disc games and Unikeep seems to be a great solution.
Do you have any suggestions on sega genesis controller displays and the cartridges?
This is exactly what I need, thanks for the video!
