A few years back when I learned there was a Wii sequel, I immediately had to have it, and was not disappointed. Probably on my top 5 list of game series.

On one hand, an old friend bought it for me, and picked the one with her favorite color especially for me. I like the console, but I love it even more for that. BUT there is one major downside to it, and it doesn't sound like a big deal right away. The gap between the two screens is smaller than the original DS, as well as it being smaller than any of the folding 2/3DS consoles.

What that means, is games that use both screens as one large vertical screen….look weird. Games like Contra 4, Metroid Pinball, or Sonic Rush for example. The games are designed with a very specifically sized screen gap in mind, so they take into account that empty space, as if both screens are one large screen and there's just something blocking the screen in one spot. But on an original non-folding 2DS, that screen gap is smaller. Meaning those games that do that, don't work quite right. It makes it hard to judge when things move from one screen to the other, such as on Contra when you're on the bottom screen, trying to shoot something on the top. Or Metroid Pinball when the ball is moving between screens.
