What that means, is games that use both screens as one large vertical screen….look weird. Games like Contra 4, Metroid Pinball, or Sonic Rush for example. The games are designed with a very specifically sized screen gap in mind, so they take into account that empty space, as if both screens are one large screen and there's just something blocking the screen in one spot. But on an original non-folding 2DS, that screen gap is smaller. Meaning those games that do that, don't work quite right. It makes it hard to judge when things move from one screen to the other, such as on Contra when you're on the bottom screen, trying to shoot something on the top. Or Metroid Pinball when the ball is moving between screens.
