You can now play Fortnite for free on Xbox Cloud Gaming on iOS and Android devices starting May 2022.
Apple removed fortnite of its App Store after a disagreement over how much discount Apple was getting from in-game purchases. The game is no longer available on Google Play Store either.
However, thanks to the inclusion of the game via streaming on Xbox Cloud Gaming, you can now play Fortnite on iPhone or iPad running iOS, and on Android devices.

If you’re unfamiliar with Xbox Cloud Gaming (formerly known as xCloud) on an iPhone or iPad, the process might seem a bit complicated at first. However, once you set up Xbox Cloud Gaming once on your iOS device, it’s as easy as a few clicks.

When using the Safari web browser, tap the blue share button, which looks like an arrow pointing up in a square, then scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.” Finally, name the application and choose “Add” in the upper right corner. Step 4: Play Fortnite
