I feel bad because a lot of great 3DS games out this year, but I missed most of them and focused on my Switch. I bought Fire Emblem Echoes and Metroid: Samus Returns and enjoyed both of those, but I've mostly been playing my Switch while bringing my 3DS to work to play some of my backlogged games during my breaks. Maybe in 2018, I'll go catch up on the 2017 3DS releases after the new-ness of the Switch wears off a little haha

I picked up my first "new" Nintendo 3DS XL console because of NintendoCade Evelyn's wonderful review of Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World.
I am very happy the game made it into your list of top five 3DS game for year 2017.
Metroid is certainly deserving of the #1 spot. My favorite 3ds game this year is Ever Oasis. Very underrated game and more people should really play it.

Thank you for this video, even though some people are saying the 3ds is dead in WHICH IT'S NOT, they're still some good games coming for the 3ds later next year I'm keeping mine for the new Shin Megami Tensei and Dragon Quest XI. I will still play with my 3ds until Nintendo discontinue this.
Great list! I have 5 out of the 6 games mentioned, couldn't really get into Miitopia… The line up of 3DS games was pretty strong this year! And honorable mention to Fire Emblem Echoes too!
