Just finally picked up a good copy of Boing! Docomodake DS from the hidden gems video a while ago! Haha love the YT missprint on the break up for the slider – Boeing Dokgo Modo ?
Suikoden 'Tierkreis' is pronounced: 'tear cries'. Which is German and means 'zodiac'. Great Video and collection. Thanks for sharing.
I have quite a few DS games (1,259 to be exact) but I must admit that most of the ones you showed here are not in my collection. Your title list is impressive. ???
I loved Viewtiful Joe! I wish there were more games for that franchise.
Where can I get detective Pikachu game ???
You could tell from the thumbnail this dude knows the good ones
just picked up my first Nintendo device, an old 2ds for £40 in perfect condition so looking for some games to start my collection, thank you.
I have two cartoon games
Orcs & Elves was awesome.
i like ds
car
Loved Scurge back in the day, very good ending very climactic I'd recommend it highly.
@MetalJesusRocks the Ys game you have is the legit final retail game, but in a pre-order display case. Stores like GameStop etc. put those on shelves in the run up to a game’s release. Usually they get taken off shelf but this one made it into the wild. Bit like the physical cases for the Zelda BOTW DOC some folks were able to get. Nice item, hope that all makes sense!
I still have my copy of "Solatorobo: Red The Hunter" in my Nintendo DS library, which even came bundled with a copy of a CD soundtrack containing various music tracks of the game. ^^
I have a love hate relationship with my old 2DS. On one hand, an old friend bought it for me, and picked the one with her favorite color especially for me. I like the console, but I love it even more for that. BUT there is one major downside to it, and it doesn't sound like a big deal right away. The gap between the two screens is smaller than the original DS, as well as it being smaller than any of the folding 2/3DS consoles.
What that means, is games that use both screens as one large vertical screen….look weird. Games like Contra 4, Metroid Pinball, or Sonic Rush for example. The games are designed with a very specifically sized screen gap in mind, so they take into account that empty space, as if both screens are one large screen and there's just something blocking the screen in one spot. But on an original non-folding 2DS, that screen gap is smaller. Meaning those games that do that, don't work quite right. It makes it hard to judge when things move from one screen to the other, such as on Contra when you're on the bottom screen, trying to shoot something on the top. Or Metroid Pinball when the ball is moving between screens.
Resident Evil Deadly Silence is an amazing port on the ds.
I wonder if he has any of the Spectrobes games. :p I grew up with the series, and loved it through and through. A few years back when I learned there was a Wii sequel, I immediately had to have it, and was not disappointed. Probably on my top 5 list of game series.
Hi Metal Jesus do you know of anywhere I can find a printable complete Nintendo ds games list for the Pal market as I have just started collecting for it and I have just over 100 games for it so far so I have a long long way to go but would love to be able to tick of the games as I go hope you can help
OMG SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS ABOUT SOUL BUBBLES! Lovely game I was obsessed too!
I know I have a March of the Minis game at my parents' house. I need to play that again!
999 inspired SAW I think.
i know this video its very old, but i noticed that there's no dragon quest normally on any highlights video, and man the DS has 4 dragon quests and they are GREAT, i was the weird kid who bought a DS for DQ and not pokemon at the time
"Professor Layton" what an nostalgia u gave me at the end of the video I still remember an Inazuma Eleven snippet game was also in professor Layton 2
